Strange Attractor will be curating a night of talks, live music and film at the Green Man Festival, which runs from 17th-19th August at Glanusk Park in the Brecon Beacons.
We’ll be taking over the Cinema tent from 9pm on the Saturday night.
The line up is as follows:
* Dr Andy Letcher, author of Shroom, on magic mushrooms in myth and popular culture.
* Dr Robert Wallis, author of Galdrbok, Shamans/Neo Shamans et al, on mugwort, England’s sacred weed.
* Stephen Grasso, contributor to Generation Hex and others, on psychedelics and magic.
* The talks will be followed by an open Q&A session chaired by Mark Pilkington.
The evening will conclude with a live performance from the Raagnagrok Allstars, featuring all of the above, plus Solomon Kirchner on electric sitar, and Otto Amon on synthesisers. We hope to have some other special guests too.
The Green Man is roundly praised as being the most enjoyable and convivial of the Summer festivals, which must be true if they’ve solicited our involvement. Also on the bill are Robert Plant, Joanna Newsom, Bill Callahan, Gruff Rhys, Six Organs of Admittance, Vashti Bunyan and tonnes more.

See you there!
