“I’m as mad as hell… and I’m not going to take this anymore!” [Network]
Further doesn’t often stray into mainstream politics, but I was so impressed by this lengthy, sustained and above all else, deeply angry monologue by MSNBC pundit Keith Olbermann that I felt it had to be shared.
“A pathological presidential liar, or an idiot-in-chief. It is the nightmare scenario of political science fiction: A critical juncture in our history and, contained in either answer, a president manifestly unfit to serve, and behind him in the vice presidency: an unapologetic war-monger who has long been seeing a world visible only to himself.”
And this went out on live TV in the USA! There is still hope for the world.
I’ve not seen this gentleman in action before, but his earnest anger, 1950s dress sense and icicle-sharp, reasoned invective have made me an instant fan.
