Lost Rivers author Tom Bolton leads a walk of the underground rivers that flow beneath Hampstead Heath
Hampstead Heath is the source for three of London’s lost rivers: the Fleet, the Tyburn and the Westbourne. This walks explore traces of their presence, including a special well, a ghost pond, and a hidden river on the Heath, and lasts around 2 hours. Come prepared to walk across muddy ground.
